From humble beginnings...
Founded in 1998 HNRC began by processing redundant rolling stock and recovering spares from stock to be scrapped.
To a world-class rail maintenance brand.
From overhauling rolling stock, it expanded to acquire its own fleet for hire and in 2019 bought the ex-DB Cargo depot at Worksop. Services are supplied to both mainline and heritage sectors.
HNRC is well established in the markets for storage, leasing and maintenance of locomotives. With over two decades in the sector, HNRC is reliable, respected and trusted, serving a wealth of customers and rail sites across the UK.
HNRC sites are safe and secure with the technical capability to keep stored trains in great condition, with regular checks from expert staff – both powering the trains and carrying out wheel rotations.
